Nate Mowrer dominated the NSRA Beer Street Journal Grand National Series race at the Milwaukee Mile on route to his 3rd win of the season and the regular season championship. With two wins Mowrer goes into the playoffs with a lot of momentum. He lead 74 of the 100 laps they ran, while also starting on pole and being the fastest in practice. His Simbox Motorsports teammate Doug Neal also came home with a 3rd place finish.

Doug Neal, Philip Scott, Adam Newton, and Jason Gracias all also lead laps in the race that saw only one caution. Adam Newton played pit strategy throughout that got him some laps lead, and helped him to a 7th place finish. Adam Pettet, who has been strong all season, struggled again to another DNF, but many drivers commented that they expect Pettet to be a strong contender during the playoffs.
