All eyes were on Nate Mowrer coming into Watkins Glen for the NSRA Beer Street Journal Grand National Series. The Simbox Motorsports driver came into the second race of the playoffs looking for his fourth win in a row. But after the only road course of the season, Philip Scott gained a lot of attention. The TNR driver dominated the race, leading all 45 laps in the ConcreteFence.com 140 presented by Superior Concrete Products.

Philip Scott started from the pole, and despite a brief challenge from Julian Tesoro, he was unstoppable. He said in his post-race interview he was a road course ringer who happens to run ovals, and it certainly showed in a strong performance tonight. Dominic Tesoro finished in second and Nate Mowrer finished in third place, snapping his winning streak. Make sure to follow WRN's socials where we will post updated playoff standings as soon as we have them.
Next Thursday, the NSRA Beer Street Journal Grand National Series heads to the World's Fastest Half Mile, Bristol Motor Speedway. This short track always brings the excitement, you won't want to miss it. Tune into WRN LIVE at 9 pm (est) to watch all the NSRA racing action.
