Ryan Sizemore had a dominant race at iRacing Superspeedway leading 34 laps in the 55 lap CarCandy 110 to win his first race of the season for the NSRA Beer Street Journal Grand National Series. His teammates at Sizemore Motorsports also had strong runs but were caught up in a late race wreck involving a lot of the leaders.
Coming to the line, Martin Plute and Doug Neal were side by side out of turn four, but a spin off of four collected a lot of the leaders (picture seen below), Sizemore was able to get through the wreck and drove to the win. Ira Kohlhaas came up a close second and Plute managed to bring home the 3rd place finish.

The race saw 15 lead changes and only two cautions on the night. Martin Plute, Brock Whitehead, Trey Whitehead, and Bryce Hunter all lead laps in the race. The 15-car field raced hard from the drop of the green flag, but it seemed to be teammates and alliances which dominated the race. It seemed that teams like Sizemore Motorsports and Simbox Motorsports were constantly working together to push toward the front of the field.
The NSRA Beer Street Journal Grand National Series only has 2 races left in its regular season. Next Thursday night will be the paperclip of Martinsville. Make sure to tune in to WRN live at 9 pm (est) to watch all the NSRA BSJ GNS action.
